Alex Rindell

Athletically and academically focused, hardworking, team-oriented, and dedicated multi-sport athlete in pursuit of the opportunity to continuing playing soccer at the collegiate level. I'm a natural leader both on an off the field- Selected Captain of my high school varsity soccer team, Founder and President of a 501(c)3 non-profit, Vikings Play It Forward Inc. that is dedicated to helping children and families experience the love of sports by collecting used sporting equipment and donations to help those in need in the local community, introduce children and families to sports, pay for sport registration fees for those in need, and provide scholarships to graduating seniors. When I'm not playing soccer, I'm actively involved in several clubs and organizations, including serving as a soccer referee for the Connecticut Special Olympics. Academically, I'm interested in exploring a career in Sports Medicine or Law. I have been accepted to attend University of Connecticut Pre-College Summer Mini Med School Program and the Georgetown University Law Academy Program for the summer of 2025.
I have played soccer for for over eleven years on a variety of teams and many of my coaches and peers would describe me as fierce leader, competitively focused, and driven for success both on and off the field. I'm looking to find a collegiate program where I can continue demonstrate my technical and leadership soccer capabilities, learn and grow as a player, continue to be part of a soccer family, and compete for the opportunity to WIN Championships.
