About Me
I am Alexis Baldemor, class of 2026, 7.2 GPA, outside back and outside midfielder. What I just described is how I approach all aspects of my life. I believe it is my responsibility to harness and steward every blessing to its fullest extent. Now where is my proof you may ask. On October 12, 2018, I started playing soccer, in April 2021 I started playing club soccer at the NPL level, from there I have made it to a ECNL-R level team, and last year played on a DPL/NPL team where we finished the season ranked 1st in our region for NPL and 3rd for DPL. I was a Captain this last year and as a Junior for my high-school team, playing every position other than goalie over the years, and being voted hardest worker, most dedicated, and best defender. These results don’t even come close to representing the countless hours I have put into improving. Although not all the results have come yet I know often the journey is the purpose.
This mentality spans to my academics as well. Although I would go into my academic achievements I would rather tell you why I put so much work into my academics. The simplified version is his glory and my future. I want to be an excellent Physical Therapist one day and an expert at what I do. This career path will allow me to help people, make an impact in my community, work with the body, and constantly use problem solving and innovation. To be the best for my future patients I need to complete an incredible bachelor’s program and top notch Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. This is what pushes me to keep going through all the hard days, the future of bringing glory to him through helping others,
Although I have other strengths on the field, I truly believe Jesus and my mentality are what set me apart. My positivity, coach-ability, attitude, effort, faith, and dedication all play a role in this. These are what I can control, so I do and trust God with the rest. I know the plans he has authored are better than I can imagine.
