Student Athlete Leadership Team

About Allie

My name is Allie Kamp, and I’m a freshman at Civic Memorial High School. I strive to be a leader both on and off the field. This year, our Athletic Director launched a Student-Athlete Leadership program focused on mentoring elementary students, and I was honored to be one of only two freshmen selected to participate.

In addition to soccer, I was the starting libero for our varsity volleyball team. I plan to run indoor track this winter and have received permission to compete in both high school soccer and track this spring. Last year, I set the school record in the 400-meter dash and placed second at the IESA 4A State Finals. My time also qualified me for New Balance Nationals, where I had the opportunity to compete against some of the nation’s top talent.

Over the past three years, I’ve played multiple positions for my Gateway Rush team—including forward, center mid, and currently center back. I’m confident in my ability to create space and connect with my midfielders, and I take most of the free kicks for my team. I pride myself on quick decision-making, strong field awareness, and being a supportive, team-first player.

Academically, I maintain a 4.428 GPA and plan to join our school’s medical program next year. My long-term goal is to become a pediatrician and eventually open my own practice. I hope to attend a university with a strong medical program ideally, close to home—so my family can attend my games, and I can continue to support my younger brother at his.

I believe I would be a great addition to any team with my work ethic, leadership, and positive energy both on and off the field.
