Anabel Lataillade

Soccer has been part of my life since I was 4 years old, but over the past few years it has become much more than just a sport—it has become my biggest passion and motivation. As a freshman, I earned a starting varsity center back position and played every minute of the season, helping lead and organize our defense while also contributing offensively and scoring on free kicks.

I currently play for Connecticut Rush Select ECNL-RL 2010 Girls and Northeast RUSH 2010 Select, the top team in the combined CT, NY, and MA program. Through Rush, I’ve competed internationally in Finland, France, and Spain against elite competition. I have also trained and competed with Connecticut ODP for the past three years.

This spring, I was honored to be called up to the U17 Haiti Women's National Football Team and travel to Costa Rica for training and competition. That experience further strengthened my desire to play college soccer and pursue the game at the highest level possible.

I am a versatile defender who is comfortable as a center back, outside back, or defensive midfielder. I take pride in being coachable, hardworking, competitive, and always committed to improving my game.
