Annalee Rippe

Soccer has been my passion since I was 4 years old, when I first touched a ball in my local rec league. In the 12 years since, the game has challenged me, pushed me beyond my limits, and taught me how to lead, adapt, and compete at a high level. I learned how to persevere when faced with adversity, lose with grace, and win with humility. The team bonds formed through competition, training, and shared challenges have made me a stronger, more selfless player that realizes the importance of teamwork, communication, and achieving goals bigger than myself. Even though competing in varsity flag football has helped me develop well-rounded athletic abilities and skills, my love for soccer is what motivates me most.

As a starting player for both my club and high school varsity soccer teams, I have embraced versatility as one of my greatest strengths. My coaches consistently rely on my flexibility, endurance and seamless transition into new positions that help create favorable matchups for our team. I take pride in my soccer IQ and ability to read the game, anticipate flow of play, and make strategic decisions. My two-foot technical skills allow me to pass with appropriate weight and direction, strike with power and accuracy, and curve the ball with intention. Whether controlling tempo of play, retaining possession, setting up teammates, or finishing chances myself, I am focused on making an impact and bringing consistency to the field.

Leadership is another key part of my game. For the last 3 consecutive seasons, both serving as a Colorado Rush ECNL 10G team captain and being awarded Player of the Year have instilled in me the value of uplifting those around me and leading by example. My work ethic, coachability, and dedication to constant improvement define who I am as an athlete and person.

I am excited to realize my goal of competing at the collegiate level from day one, where I can continue to push myself, contribute to a high-level program, and grow as a player, teammate, and leader. My ideal college is one that will challenge me both athletically and academically, support continuous growth in those areas, and provide an environment that values hard work, strong team dynamics, and strategic play. I believe I can help elevate that program with my versatility, high soccer IQ, technical skill, leadership, and dedication to the sport.
