Soccer has had and continues to have a huge impact on my life. I began playing soccer at a very young age, but I didn't fall in love with it until I was 11. Through soccer I have learned how dedicated, disciplined, passionate, and competitive I am. I am a very self-motivated person with the ability to inspire and lead others. I value the importance of hard work and dedication in things I am passionate about. I am constantly making lofty goals and dreaming big. In high school, my academic goal is to be able to maintain a 4.0 GPA or higher throughout the 4 years. I value relationships, friendships, and family greatly. I love to spend time outdoors with the people I care about most. Throughout my soccer career I have experienced many hardships including not making teams, being overlooked, position changes, injury, and not getting as much playing time as I wanted. With this being said, these obstacles have helped me realize the value of persistence and determination. These situations have helped me learn the valuable lesson that nothing great comes without sacrifice and hard work.
