Ava Smedley

I’m a junior in high school with a 4.0 GPA and a strong love for soccer. I’ve been playing since I was little, and over the years, the game has become a huge part of who I am. I’m known for working hard, being a coachable player, and always pushing myself and my teammates to get better. On the field, I bring a mix of competitiveness and composure—I love the challenge of tough games, but I am still able to remain calm under pressure. I’m versatile, dependable, and always give 100% effort, whether it’s practice, training, or game day. My goal is to play at the college level where I can keep developing and learning as a player and contribute right away to a strong, team-first program. Off the field, I stay just as focused. Keeping a 4.0 GPA while balancing school, soccer, and other extracurriculars takes good time management and discipline, but I believe the same effort and mindset that make me a better player also make me a better student and teammate. I’m excited to find a college where I can compete, learn, and grow surrounded by other players who share this same drive and love for the game.
