About Brandon

I am an under-recruited, high-academic running back who has produced everywhere I’ve been, continued to improve physically, and shown that I’m willing to bet on myself. After starting from day one at Boys’ Latin, I transferred to Baltimore City College because I wanted a greater challenge, and I continued producing in a tougher environment. As a junior, I rushed for roughly 1,300+ yards with double-digit touchdowns, and as a senior I came back faster, stronger and more explosive, scoring 9 touchdowns and rushing for over 500 yards through my first four games while consistently handling 20+ carries. At 5’7” and around 185 pounds, I’m a compact and powerful back with very good balance, explosiveness, vision and acceleration. I run strong through contact, make defenders miss, finish runs and have the build to handle a heavy workload. I’m also a multi-sport athlete who set a Baltimore City College lacrosse scoring record, which shows my competitiveness, movement skills and overall athleticism. Academically, I carry a 4.8 weighted GPA while taking IB/AP coursework, have earned Honor Roll recognition and scored a 1200 SAT. I’ve also attracted interest from academically selective programs and hold an offer from Maryland, showing that both my football ability and academics have been recognized. The biggest part of my story is my trajectory. I’ve continued to get stronger, faster and more productive even when the recruiting attention hasn’t always matched my production. I believe in production, not projection. I’ve already shown that I can carry the football, create yards and score touchdowns. My height is part of my story, not something I try to hide. The question isn’t whether I’m 5’7”; it’s whether defenders can tackle me, whether I can create yards and whether I can play at the next level. My academics also give me the ability to fit at programs where admissions matter. I’m looking for an opportunity to earn my way onto the field and prove what I can do.
