Brooke VanValkenburg

I have been playing both varsity and club soccer for more than 7 years and started on my varsity team in 8th grade. I play aggressively and am not afraid of the contact side of the game. I work hard at practice, personal training sessions and in game which has improved my game play throughout the years. I have played multiple positions having my best performance and greatest comfort as defender. I have become a tactical player over the past few years being able to get the ball up the field quickly. Being a defender I have worked with a variety of players being a leader in communication on the team to create plays further up the field. I am looking to further my career in soccer at the college level and feel that I could be a huge asset to a college team due to the aforementioned areas of strength. I am not afraid of the hard work needed to be a successful player.
