About Camilo
My name is Camilo Barreto, I'm a class of 2027 playing for Rush Select Academy in Port St. Lucie, Florida. We compete in the UPSL Premier League and N1. I'm a dual citizen, born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and I moved to the U.S. when I was six. I've been playing in adult leagues such as the USSL since I was 15 and played for the Olympic Florida State Team (ODP).
What separates me is my work ethic, adaptability, and constant drive to improve. I bring intensity and focus to every session and strive to elevate my teammates through communication and leadership. I treat my teammates with respect both on and off the field, because I believe you should treat others the way you’d want to be treated.
My ultimate goal is to play professionally, and I view college soccer as the next major step in that journey. I’m looking for a program where I can be challenged daily, develop as a player, and contribute to a strong, winning culture, on and off the field.
