Cari Powell

Hi, my name is Cari (pronounced car-ee) and I'm class of 2027. I am captain of my HS soccer team and play mostly as an attacking mid-fielder but can also play winger or striker. I'm a very attacking focused player who still puts in the defensive work from the front by pressing and good slide tackle from time to time. Over the last two HS seasons I have averaged nine goals and 9 assist each season. I pride myself in playing composed under pressure and helping my team maintain possession while still looking for opportunities to break lines of pressure with through balls or dribbling. I'm a set piece specialist with several goals scored from olympicos and free kicks.
In college I hope to further my academic career by studying sports medicine or therapy. I would like to play soccer at a program with a personal feel and great community where the players are all friends.
I believe that my selfless play, intensity, hard work and composure can be an asset for any soccer program.
