Iain Ellis ( email: [email protected], phone: 07932728261, relationship: Coach): Charlie Wells- Charlie is a very confident individual and has become a starting centre back for the team, he has consistently shown improvement through his journey with us and improved both technically and tactically as a defender. Being over 6 foot and fast allows him to be able to play as both a central defender and right back or right wing back for our Elite side. STRENGTHS Charlie is very dominant in the air at College level, he will not allow a centre forward to easily flick things on or get an attacking head on goal. Being a natural leader Charlie has a strong chance of being the elite captain next year, he has learnt over his journey how to get the best out of himself and his teammates. The style of football we play at MK means Charlie has had to adapt and improve technically, he is now comfortable receiving under pressure and playing passes through lines to her teams and allow all midfielders to play forward. PERSONALITY Charlie is a model student at MK College, never being late with assignments or missing a training session. What has impressed me most about Charlie is his willingness to listen and improve as a player but also as a person. He is now a fantastic role model for our first year is coming through.
