About Ella
I am currently a 10th-grade student and have been playing soccer since 5th grade. In addition to soccer, I play softball for my high school, where I hold the position of catcher. I take pride in my strong work ethic and commitment to giving 100% in every practice, training session, and game. I am always looking for ways to improve my soccer skills, learn from my coaches, and apply their feedback to become a stronger, more well-rounded player.
My philosophy as an athlete is that success is not about being the star of the team, but about being a dependable contributor to the team’s overall success. Whether playing my usual midfield or striker positions or stepping into a defensive role when needed, I am willing to do whatever it takes to support my teammates. I believe teamwork, communication, adaptability, and a shared commitment to winning are essential to achieving success on the field.
I bring the same dedication and discipline to my academics that I do to my athletics. I finished my freshman year ranked in the top 10 of my class with a 3.8 GPA and am currently on track to graduate in 2029 with a Regents diploma. My goal is to attend a university where I can continue playing women’s soccer while pursuing a science degree on a pre-med track. I am interested in a future career in medicine, with dermatology currently being an area of particular interest.
Outside of school and sports, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and two dogs. I also enjoy giving back to my community by refereeing recreational youth soccer games, participating in youth soccer clinics to help younger players develop their skills and passion for the game, and volunteering at a local food pantry. These experiences allow me to contribute to my community while continuing to grow as both an athlete and an individual.
