About Emerson

Hi Coach, my name is Emerson Seaman. I’m a freshman student-athlete who takes a lot of pride in my work ethic, both on the field and in the classroom. Growing in a sports-minded family, I’ve learned early on that success doesn’t come from talent alone—it comes from discipline, preparation, and consistency. Outside of athletics, I value leadership, being a reliable teammate, and holding myself to a high standard in everything I do.
What sets me apart is my relentless motor and my coachability. I’m the kind of player who treats every practice with the same intensity as a game. I don't just focus on my own performance; I actively look for ways to lift up my teammates and bring positive energy to the sideline. Whether it's doing the dirty work that doesn't show up on a stat sheet, adjusting instantly to tactical changes, or pushing through fatigue, I pride myself on being the most resilient player on the pitch.
My goals are broken down into short- and long-term milestones. Academically, my goal is to maintain a top-tier GPA through high school and challenge myself with rigorous coursework to prepare for a strong college major. Athletically, my immediate goal for my freshman year is to earn the respect of the upperclassmen and coaches through my daily effort, work my way into a meaningful contributor role, and continuously develop my soccer/baseball IQ. Long-term, my goal is to play competitive collegiate athletics at a program that values academic excellence and a championship culture.
I am looking for a university and program that feels like a true family. Specifically, I want: A Culture of Accountability: A coaching staff that pushes players to reach their absolute ceiling, demands high character, and fosters a tight-knit locker room. Academic Strength: A school with strong academic programs where I can build a serious career path post-graduation. Development Focus: A program with a proven track record of developing players technically, tactically, and physically year-over-year.
I can help your program immediately by bringing high energy, competitive depth, and an unselfish team-first mindset every single day. I won't just add to the roster—I will raise the competitive standard of the daily training environment. As I grow within the program, you can count on me to be a vocal leader, a clutch performer under pressure, and a dependable ambassador for the culture of the team both on campus and in the community.
