Emilia Bolde

My name is Emilia Bolde, and I love playing soccer. I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. I am currently a 2029 graduate at Southside High School in Youngsville, Louisiana. I currently play for LA Krewe Rush out of Lafayette, Louisiana in the ECNL-RL. I started playing soccer when I was eight years old. My parents put me in multiple sports, but I knew soccer was the sport for me. I have aspired to play collegiate soccer and possibly beyond.

I am committed to working on my craft to improve my skillset to achieve my goal of playing collegiate soccer. I am a hard worker; I strive to be the best on the field and push myself to highest level possible. My current primary positions are attacking mid and forward/wing, but I have played holding mid/defense when my coach needs me to lockdown the middle or a player. I am a team leader and try to lead by example for my teammates. I am a very coachable player and try to pick the brain of all my coaches to get a better understanding of how they are playing the game.

I work year-round on my skills which includes playing for multiple teams, participating in private sessions with professional coaches/players, attending camps and working with my father. I find that my soccer IQ is very high, I am a strong defender, strong ball handling skills and normally one of the fastest players on the field. My mental toughness is second to none. I take pride in the work I put into getting better.

In the classroom, I work just as hard as I do on the field. I currently maintain a 3.9 GPA, while taking honors classes for ELA and Math. On our state standardized testing, I achieve the highest grades of advanced in all areas. I am big in my faith and attend church service in the morning while attending high school bible studies in the evening.

I would like to attend a college where I can push myself both academically and on the soccer field. I am hoping the right opportunity comes along to fulfill my dream of playing collegiate soccer while obtaining a college degree.
