Emily Churchill

I have been playing soccer since the age of three, when I started at a local sports center learning how to play the game. From there, I joined a neighborhood recreational youth association; however, I decided I wanted a more competitive atmosphere by third grade, so my family and I looked into a nearby club team, tried out, thus joining travel soccer. I have been playing club soccer at a competitive level ever since, and have been coached by a lot of talented coaches on multiple teams, including my school team, Downingtown West. I am very involved in my school community through my participation, and leadership, in multiple clubs like: student council, national honors society, spanish national honors society, ready day, peer mentorship, Morgan's message, student life and I am the vice president of best buddies. I have a passion for helping people and writing, making my near-future goals playing soccer at a competitive college level, while studying, and majoring in, pre-med and hopefully minoring in journalism. After college, I hope to attend a graduate program and achieve my occupational goal of being an anesthesiologist, and the tasks that come along with it.
