About Emma

My name is Emma Badger and I will be a 2026 graduate from Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, Colorado. I am team captain for Colorado Rush 2008 ECNL-RL four years running, and am the longest standing member of that team. Each year, my team has advanced in our level of competition. New, stronger players have been added, and previous teammates have been dropped, while I have been able to maintain my spot. As the team's level of play has increased, so has mine. I started out playing center back, where I developed my skills of communication and organization on the field. My soccer IQ increased greatly from this position, where I could see the whole field. For the past three years, I have been playing the 6. Learning this new position has helped me grow as a player and challenged me to increase my speed of play and and confidence playing in tight spaces, while highlighting my skills of distribution and sense of composure. It is my goal to play soccer in college in a competitive atmosphere and one in which I will continue to be challenged to grow as a player and a teammate.
