George McConnochie

I’m George McConnochie, a 2011-born Class of 2029 center back standing 6'3” and 170 lbs with a 4.0 GPA. I played JV soccer for Pittsford Mendon High School, finishing with 2 goals, and previously played goalkeeper for the Pittsford Mustangs before moving to RNYFC as a CDM and later a CB from 2023–2025, including three trials with the RNYFC MLS Next Academy. I currently play CB for Rochester Rush 2011. I’m a fast, athletic defender who’s strong playing out of the back, breaking lines, and switching play, but can also manage tempo with simple possession. Academically, I’m taking all available honors classes and two upper-level science courses. I’m looking for an academically strong program with a competitive coaching environment that pushes my athletic, technical, and mental development while allowing me to make an impact on and off the field.
