About Me

My love of soccer started at 3 years old playing recreational soccer in Stuttgart, Germany. Now, I am playing competitive soccer against teams within Florida and attending out of state tournaments. The relationships that I have made through soccer are irreplaceable and one of the strongest I have. Be it hanging out with the team the night before games or having dinner with them after a game, I know it is always going to be a good time. I enjoy surrounding myself with other people that share in my enjoyment of soccer and push people around them to be better. I also take great value in a good relationship with my coaches because it allows us to communicate freely and understand how I play and how they coach. Furthermore, my goal for playing college soccer would be leading my team to a NCAA tournament birth in which we make a deep run in the tournament hopefully ending with a national title. In my academic life I have always kept a high academic standard. I enjoy challenging myself with rigorous classes where the material being taught is not easy to understand. As a result of my rigorous class schedule, I have developed time management skills to balance all my classes homework, my social life, and playing soccer. Furthermore, I would like to attend a college that has an engineering program due to me being strong at math and enjoying doing hands on activities. My goal for college is to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering

Jaime Castro ( email: [email protected], phone: 8137404600, relationship: Other): It is with great pleasure that I would recommend Cadet Gregory Miller for playing soccer at the collegiate level. He is a determined leader, scholar, and cadet. When I think of a strong-willed student, Gregory is at the top of the list. He can do it all with incredible results.
During the three year’s I’ve been at Newsome High School, Gregory has impressed me on his determined and strong attitude in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Battalion of 200 cadets. His scholastic skills are incredible, earning a weighted GPA of 4.62 after 2 years of high school. Gregory also completed 2 years of Honors classes with him in the middle of his third year. He has also passed 1 Advanced Placement (AP) class and is currently taking 3 more. His academic determination is equally matched by his leadership potential.
Gregory impressed the instructors, including me, with his leadership abilities so much that he was selected to be a company First Sergeant his junior year and is a strong candidate for becoming the Battalion’s Command Sergeant Major his senior year.
He is an outstanding individual, exemplary leader, and excellent follower. Gregory has proven himself time and time again as demonstrated by his many awards and accomplishments. He is an outstanding young man with unlimited potential and is determined to be a leader within this community and on the field.

Dave Page ( email: [email protected], phone: 813-360-9279, relationship: Coach): Greg Miller is a technically skilled shot stopping keeper with an ability to be an impact player on the field. Greg handles pressure well and can keep a team in competitive games. Greg is fit and flexible and works on this throughout the season. He has played in the ODP Regional Pool for 3 years and a 3 year letterman for his High School team beating out several upperclassmen keepers.

Greg has embraced a mentorship program within the club assisting in keeper training with younger players. He has good leadership skills and has tweaked his own game as a result of training others. Greg maintains great GPA while also participating in the ROTC program at school.

Greg is a player that should be considered to play at the next level. He has been a great player to coach and has improved greatly with all the hard work he has put in. Greg is one of the toughest keepers I have seen play. This serves him well as he has spent time playing against older players for much of his playing career.
