About Hudson

When I was 3, my parents signed me up for my first soccer team. I didn’t know the rules, kicked the ball onto other fields, and even scored in the wrong goal. But soccer quickly became more than a game to me—it became the foundation for the most important lessons in my life: perseverance, resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
My goal is to play soccer in college while pursuing a degree. I’m committed to developing as both an athlete and student, and I’m excited to contribute to a program that values hard work, character, and growth. I aspire to represent my future school with pride, on the field and in the classroom. As both of my parents competed in college sports, I have a strong background in the mentality, time management, and expectations that it takes to be a successful student-athlete.
What makes me a strong candidate is my unwavering commitment to self-improvement. I've faced setbacks, but rather than giving up, I used those moments as fuel to train harder, think smarter, and come back stronger. Being one of the smallest players on every team during my formative years taught me to play with more heart, use my size as an advantage, and never let limitations define me. That mentality helped me lead my team to the Far West Region Championships and stay academically focused through challenges like the pandemic. This has led me to make the Southern Nevada Olympic Development team three times, starting varsity wing on my high school team, named to the Rush Soccer Global Select 2009 team, and using my free time to attend the Invictus training facility.
Academically, I’ve maintained a GPA above 4.0 at a highly competitive magnet school focused on sports medicine, balancing demanding classes with a full athletic and personal life. This dedication has resulted in earning the Nevada Academic All-Star Award and the SECTA Varsity Scholar Athlete award. I also give back to my community and support my family, including coaching my younger brother's youth soccer team. I bring that sense of responsibility and teamwork to everything I do—whether it’s on the pitch, in the classroom, or at home.
What sets me apart is not just my work ethic or academic drive, but my understanding that success comes from facing adversity head-on. I’ve learned to embrace the hard path because it makes the reward much more meaningful. I don’t just want to play college soccer—I want to earn my place, grow as a player and person, and help my team achieve success any way I can.
