I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. What began as a recreational sport for me, it has become a part of the person I have grown to be. I aspire to play at the collegiate level and I know I will continue to learn and grow through the sport of soccer.
In 2021 I suffered an injury that required me to take a break from soccer. It was a difficult time as my routines have changed and I could not play. I missed being on the field, I kept myself involved by cheering on my high school and travel teammates. This experience gave me the drive to persevere through healing myself back to physical health. Physical therapy and strength and endurance training through the year contributed to my comeback to soccer. Even getting awarded comeback player of the year for my high school soccer team.
I also work hard in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and induction into the National Honor Society. I am actively involved in my church, Christ Fellowship in the youth group and volunteer weekly leading the middle school students.
I want to attend a college that will continue to challenge me and grow in the classroom and the soccer field. I am looking forward to finding the just right fit for me to continue my life experiences.
