About Johnny

I’m a soccer player in high school in Alaska about to graduate (5/2026). I play on 3 of the top teams in my state including my high school team, my competitive club (Rush) soccer team, and our AK USYS ODP team. I also recently made the Western Regional Team comprised of Rush Select Players from AK, WA, CA, OR, etc. All of my coaches have told me I am good enough of a soccer player to play DI, but coming from a small town, I’m more interested in a smaller school. I prefer to play CB, but my high school team and sometimes my ODP team plays me at wing. I also guest play from time to time for my local AK USYS comp club if they need players and my Rush team isn't attending.
If you would like to talk to my coaches, my competitive club Rush team coach is Mike Montgomery (mmontgomery@rushalaska.com)- (907) 229-4488. I've played for him on the top comp club team in my state for 5 years now. We have traveled all over the US together and he knows me very well. We have won State every time I've been on the team and gone on to Far West Regionals each year. On my comp team I play my favorite position, center back.
I have played for my highschool coach since 7th grade. He always plays me at wing. I have trained my left foot so I can be left or right wing. I lettered as a freshman and have started every single high school game and only been subbed out to catch a drink of water before I went back in. My highschool & middle school coach is Erik Dolphin (edolphin@kkpbsd.k12.ak.us) (907) 382-0964.
I think I could be a great asset to your program. I have incredible dedication to my sport. My coaches say I keep the team grounded with my calm demeanor. I don't take things personally. I always have a positive attitude. I am easy to get along with and am friends with everyone. I am respectful to everyone. I can pass my classes and work hard at school.
