About Joseph
My name is Joey Rountree, and I am currently in the class of 2028, at East Rochester High School in East Rochester, NY. I am very interested in continuing my education and in the opportunity to play soccer at the college level.
I primarily play striker and winger. I am a member of the North East Rush Boys 2010 soccer team, coached this year by Jakob Jaufmann, and last year coached by Doug Tay. In addition, I also play for East Rochester’s Varsity Soccer team, coached by Matt LaFontaine; and AFCR East Rochester Jets Soccer team coached by Lafayette Eaton.
In the past year, I was a lead scorer for my Rush 2010 team with 10 goals; lead scorer on Jets with 14 goals; and helped my Varsity school soccer team progress to the Sectional Finals by scoring the winning goal in the semifinal game vs Avon. In addition, I scored 5 goals and had two assists throughout the varsity season.
Academically, I currently have a 3.9 GPA. I am hoping to find a college that has a strong academic program and soccer program. I believe my work ethic and leadership on and off the field would be a great fit for your program.
