About Jonathan

A high-energy, two-way midfielder who reads the game, organizes teammates, disrupts attacks, and creates opportunities in transition. My primary position is attacking midfield, but I’ve played both wings, striker, deeper in midfield and center back depending on what my team needs. I enjoy understanding different positions and how they work together, and I think that helps me adjust to the game and make the players around me better.

I’ve earned more responsibility at every level and now play nearly every minute as a senior captain. I’ve captained Peabody, MA Rush and track, but being voted Ultimate Teammate by my peers means the most to me. I communicate, compete physically and keep pushing when a game turns against us. I also believe being a captain means taking responsibility for the team and setting the standard for how we compete.

I love learning the game and want coaches who will challenge me, teach me and expect me to keep developing. Academically, I want to combine creativity and technology through design. My goal is to become the kind of player and teammate a program can use in different ways, trust in important moments and build with for four years—and to leave it stronger than I found it.
