Kateryna Schupp

My name is Kateryna Schupp, and soccer is not only my passion but also the driving force behind my growth as a student-athlete and a person. I bring a relentless work ethic, discipline, and determination to everything I do on and off the field. My goal is to reach the highest level possible in soccer while continuing to challenge myself academically and personally.

For me, the game is much more than winning. I believe soccer is a mosaic of many skills—physical, technical, tactical, and mental—and I strive to grow in every area. I am deeply committed to the mental side of the game: resilience, focus, and composure under pressure. Equally important is being a great teammate. I pride myself on encouraging and lifting others up, because I know team success is built on trust, unity, and leadership.

Beyond the field, I am serious about academics and leadership. My long-term vision is to combine my soccer career with a professional path in public service, potentially with the CIA, where I can use the same drive, analytical skills, and discipline that I apply in athletics.

Attributes that I bring as a recruit:

Athleticism & Technical Ability – Strong fitness base, quick decision-making, and dedication to skill development.

Tactical Intelligence – Coachable, adaptable, and able to read the game from multiple perspectives.

Work Ethic & Discipline – Committed to training, film study, and continuous self-improvement.

Leadership & Character – Vocal on the field, supportive off the field, and always team-first.

Academic Commitment – High-achieving student prepared to succeed in a rigorous academic environment.

Balance & Vision – Focused on long-term goals that combine athletics, education, and career aspirations.

Soccer has taught me perseverance, humility, and the power of teamwork. I am ready to bring that same passion and commitment to a college program that values excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
