At my old club, Steel United, I was selected to go to the national camp for the age group above me. This was where all the best players of that age group across the country were selected for this camp to.

Academic honors

I am in the math and science academy in my area where I take specialized classes in science, math, and English. I am also currently taking AP Human Geography. In middle school, I received honors 6th grade through 8th grade for getting all A's. In addition, I scored a perfect 600 on my civics SOL in 8th grade. Then, I have also gotten all passed advanced scores on all SOL's from 3rd grade to 8th grade.

Extracurricular activities

Some leadership positions I have fulfilled are caption of my middle school team and I am section leader of my 9th grade orchestra Currently, as a freshman, I am on my class of 2030 club and the school SCA where I am on a committee for student involvement and school spirt. In middle school I participated in NJHS in 8th grade, Panther partners in 7th and 8th grade, Orchestra in 7th and 8th grade, and I was on my middle school team from 6th to 8th grade. While on my middle school team we won the city championship my 7th and 8th grade year.

About Kelsey

I am currently a freshman in high school and I have loved the game of soccer for as long as I can remember. I am mainly a center back for my team but I am also able to play as the outside back and center midfielder for my team. As a center back I have learned how to read the game beyond just simply what passes should be made which has helped me make the best decisions I can for myself and my team. In addition, I am very calm under pressure and I do not let my nerves get the best of me which has allowed me to give my best in big games and tournaments. I am also able to understand and execute the correct passes and plays, whether that is the easy pass, breaking lines, or playing over the press. My goals are to continue to develop my skills over the next four years and hopefully play soccer in college.
