About Laurel

My name is Laurel Yard, I am a 2026 graduate student at Fabius Pompey HS located in Upstate New York (Fabius, NY). A potential major I am interested in is Nursing. I am a multi-sport athlete, currently playing High School soccer, High School volleyball, and club soccer. I have played soccer for around 11 years now. With my love for the game, I have dedicated my time to focus on soccer and to better myself every day from conditioning to skills. I am a versatile player that can play on both the offensive side of the field as well as defensive, wherever I am needed! Apart from soccer I also work hard academically with a 3.7 GPA. I am an honors student and work consistently in class. My goal is to continue soccer into the college level and continue to better myself. Coaches have told me that I am a coach-able player, and I have a good vision of the field, always watching who is around me.
