About leonardo
My journey has been anything but ordinary. Over the years, I’ve grown both on the field and in the classroom. Representing Brazil and later continuing my soccer journey in the United States has shaped who I am today. Joining Rush Soccer allowed me to train and compete at a high level while adapting to a new country and lifestyle. The transition wasn’t easy, but with the support of my coaches and teammates, I’ve learned to balance intense training and academics with discipline and focus.
Under Coach Laryea Kingston’s guidance, I’ve developed my technical and tactical understanding of the game, especially within his dynamic, attacking style of play. Competing in the UPSL Premier Florida Division against strong men’s teams and former college players has been a great challenge and an important step in my development.
Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, but I also value education just as much. I want to attend a college that pushes me both academically and athletically, where I can continue to grow as a student, a player, and a person.
