About Luis
My path in soccer has been defined by discipline, consistency, and a very clear objective: to play at the highest possible player after graduating from high school. Football is everything to me, and I approach my development with full commitment every day. At the same time, I place strong value on education and am determined to pursue a university degree in Biotechnology.
I am originally from Spain, where I competed my entire youth career in División de Honor, the highest non-professional youth league in the country. During this period, I trained and played with top-level academies such as Celta de Vigo, Arosa SC, and Pontevedra CF. Competing in this environment demanded excellence on a daily basis and helped shape my professional mentality and work ethic.
I am currently completing Grade 12 at Rush Select Academy, fully immersed in a high-performance setting. I train twice a day throughout the week and am accustomed to the lifestyle and responsibilities of a serious athlete. I play as an attacking midfielder for Rush Gold in the UPSL Premier division, competing regularly against collegiate players, adult semi-professionals, and former professional athletes. This level of competition continues to challenge me and accelerate my growth.
I currently develop under the guidance of Coach Alex Eden, whose mentorship has been fundamental in my technical, tactical, and mental progression.
Beyond soccer, I am deeply interested in Biotechnology, a field that reflects my curiosity for science, innovation, and problem-solving. I am motivated to pursue rigorous academic training that will allow me to grow intellectually while preparing for a future beyond the field.
I see college as the ideal environment to combine elite-level soccer with strong academics, and I am committed to making the most of this opportunity to develop as a student-athlete.
