About Martin
My name is Martin Calderon, and I am a member of the Class of 2027. I primarily play center back, where I take pride in being a strong and disciplined defender who puts the team first. What makes me unique is my ability to read the game, stay composed under pressure, and communicate effectively with my back line. I am confident in winning aerial duels, maintaining good positioning, and playing simple, accurate passes to build out of the back.
In addition to me playing center back, I am a versatile player who can adapt and contribute in multiple positions when needed. I am comfortable adjusting to different roles based on the team’s needs and game situations, which allows me to be a reliable and flexible option for coaches.
My goal is to compete at the college level while continuing to grow both academically and athletically. I am looking for a college that challenges me, emphasizes player development, and values strong team culture both on and off the field.
I can help your program by bringing consistency, versatility, and a strong work ethic every day. I am coachable, committed to improvement, and willing to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed.
