Matthew Carroll

My name is Matthew Carroll (Class of 2029), and my goal is to compete at the collegiate level as a goalkeeper. I’m the starting GK for Xavier High School, an all-boys college prep program where I take honors and accelerated courses, and I play club soccer with CT Rush Select in MLS NEXT 2. I’m known for being personable, vocal, and highly coachable—someone who brings positive energy while taking the work seriously. I train year-round, both with my teams and independently, to keep my skills sharp and continue developing every part of my game. My coaches describe me as dependable, hardworking, and focused under pressure. I set personal goals, seek out feedback, and take pride in being a goalkeeper my teammates trust on and off the field.
