About Maxim
I’m a 2009 goalkeeper from Spain who has developed through competitive youth soccer, including Barcelona Academy, Cornellà, and Sant Andreu, before continuing my development in the U.S. I speak five languages and compete in chess at a high level as a FIDE Master (FM), which has helped me develop my focus, strategic thinking, and decision-making.
Academically, I have a 3.96 unweighted GPA, and I’m committed to maintaining strong academic performance while pursuing my athletic goals.
My main strengths as a goalkeeper are communication, distribution, playing out from the back, 1v1s, and coming off my line. My goal is to compete at the Division I level while continuing to grow academically and as a player.
I’m looking for a competitive college with strong academics and a coaching staff that will push me to improve. I can bring leadership, communication, work ethic, and a strong competitive mentality to a program.
