Meredith MacIver

Hi! I’m Meredith. I’m a student at Whittier Tech in Haverhill, MA. I have always loved soccer, particularly the position of goalkeeper. In my freshman year at Whittier Tech, I was a starting forward for the varsity team. I am a GK on my club team, Rush MA 2007. I’m looking forward to taking to the net at Whittier in my sophomore year, while continuing to play as GK for Rush. If you come to one of my games, you’ll likely hear me before you see me. My coaches joke that I am loud but encouraging from the net. I know what to say to keep my teammates playing hard and to celebrate their effort at the same time. Outside of soccer, I love to compete in gymnastics, and am an XCEL Gold NH state champion on uneven bars. I hope to study in the field of health sciences and am excited to continue my soccer career through college. I’m looking for a college that will help me continue my love for the game, challenge me academically, and prepare me for a leadership role in the future.
