I have been playing soccer since I was five. I have played in the goal for about six years. What I love about being a goal keeper is the leadership skills and resiliency the position has taught me. No matter what happens in a game, I pick myself up and try again. It can be very difficult mentally to give up a goal, but you have to pick yourself up, let it go, and get ready to stop the next shot. I think I am a great goal keeper because I am resilient, I am fast, I can track the ball and anticipate well.
My goals are to play D1 soccer but to also get a great education. I am looking not only for a great soccer team but also a great nursing program. A quality education is very important to me and is a critical factor in which college I plan to attend.
