About Me

My name is Natalia Ruiz, and I am a 5'2 libero/d/s in the class of 2027. I live in El Paso, Texas where I currently attend El Dorado High School. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, and I'm ranked 9th out of a class of 580. I am also presently enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program. I have been a varsity level player since I was a freshman, and was recognized in 2024 as the District 2-5A Defensive MVP. Additionally, I play for Rapidfire Volleyball Club on their 16s National team, RVC Sparks. Three things that I am constantly complimented on is my consistency, composure and versatility. I am a reliable passer who prioritizes ball control and accuracy, especially in serve recieve. I also have been complimented by several coaches on my ability to maintain my composure in difficult situations. Whether my team is up 20 points or down 20 points, I have always found it important to play my best game. I am able to adjust in tight situations and respond to get the ball up. Ever since I was younger, I always knew I wanted to play collegiate sports. My commitment to this goal would make me a great addition to your volleyball program.
