My name is Paula Martí, and I am a 17-year-old soccer player from Spain. I started playing soccer for my hometown club when I was eight years old. At the age of 12, I was signed by Girona FC, where I played for four years. After that, I decided to take a major step forward in both my academic and athletic journey by moving to the United States and attending school in Pennsylvania. During my time there, my team won the league and district championships, and we finished the season by winning the State Championship. Individually, I was named MVP and earned First Team honors. For my final year of high school, I decided to take another step in my development by joining RPS Academies in Florida. Our program is focused on becoming 1% better every day. We train six days a week twice a day throughout the year, with sessions that include soccer training, strength and conditioning in the gym, classroom work, tactical development, and positional training. I consider myself ambitious, disciplined, and extremely competitive. I always want to win, but I also know how to manage my emotions and stay focused. I give 100% in every training session and every game, and I am always looking for ways to improve as both a player and a person. I primarily play in midfield, but I am a versatile player and I am willing to play wherever the team needs me. No matter the position, I will always compete and give my maximum effort. I am 5’4” (1.62 m) and weigh approximately 126 lbs (57 kg). Academically, I am interested in studying Business. My goal is to become a successful person not only in soccer, but also in my professional and personal life. I want to continue challenging myself, working hard, and taking advantage of every opportunity that can help me grow. I am looking for a college where I can continue developing at a high level academically and athletically while contributing everything I can to the team.
