Peyton McGary

Hi Coaches! My name is Peyton McGary, and I’m a Class of 2029 softball player from Troy, Texas. I play catcher, middle infield, and outfield for Texas Blaze CTX 16U Vogan.

My dream is to play softball at the collegiate level while earning a degree in nursing. I’m looking for a program that will challenge me academically and athletically, help me grow, and give me the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.

I’m a team-first player with a “we over me” attitude. I’m very coachable, work hard, and always look for ways to improve. I believe I can help your team by bringing versatility, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. I’m willing to play wherever I’m needed, learn from my coaches, and do whatever I can to help my team succeed.

Something unique about me is that I’m a little quiet (off the field, on the field I’m loud and proud) until I get comfortable, but I have a big personality and a dry sense of humor. I’m very driven and hold myself to high standards, both in school and softball. I care a lot about my teammates and want to be someone they can count on, both on and off the field.
