Raafae Pirzada

It has been a long time dream of mine to play college golf. I started putting at age 6, chipping by age 8, and playing 18 by age 11. Playing on the high school varsity golf team a freshman made me realize how much I love the game. I also enjoy practicing and working with a team. Once I set my mind on a goal, I will do whatever it takes to achieve it. For example, when I realized what it would take to make the varsity team as a Freshman, I focused on improving my skills, staying disciplined, and pushing myself. In College, I plan on studying Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) as it is huge right now and only looks to be growing exponentially. Math and logical thinking have always been my strong suit and I would like to take advantage of my natural aptitude to excel at my education. I am an expert swimmer with life guard and CPR training. I was on the Lifetime swim team from age 4 - 11 when I switched to golf. I now work at Lifetime P/T as a swim coach.
