About Remy

My name is Remy Bartel, and I’m a 6’ middle blocker/right side, Class of 2028. I’ve played club volleyball for one season and am honored to compete this year with Dallas Skyline’s 16 Black team. I absolutely love the sport of volleyball and bring a fresh, growing passion to every practice and game.

I started playing recreational volleyball in 4th grade, and from the beginning, I knew it as an opportunity to grow and challenge myself. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a college athlete, but it wasn’t until this past year that we decided to pursue that goal in this sport. My parents held me out of club for as long as they could so I wouldn't burn out or become too specialized. I know I've got a lot of potential, what it takes to be successful and am excited about the journey. With that realization, I’m all in—working hard and excited to see the results of my dedication in the coming years.

Outside of volleyball, I enjoy spending time with my family (life is never boring being the oldest of six!) and being outdoors. When I’m not doing homework, you can usually find me hanging out with friends or cheering at sports games. I take my academics seriously and always strive to give my best effort in everything I do, staying focused until the job is done and done right.

Volleyball has become my outlet beyond school and the busy rhythm of family life. I’m eager to continue growing as both an athlete and a person, and I look forward to pursuing my volleyball career at the collegiate level and beyond.
