In terms of general feedback, I think that you are a great all around athlete which is key for a midfielder looking to play at the next level. You showed that athleticism in your ability to be a KEY player on the draw circle coming up with 50/50 balls and in transition igniting fast break plays and hustling on the ride. Defensively, you have great 1v1 footwork on ball and vision off ball. Riley you have a good lax IQ and your teammates can benefit strongly from you so keep sharing it players can learn from you. Offensively, you are small but MIGHTY! Your speed allowed you to create plays for your teammates and score goals yourself. Overall as a 2026, I was impressed by your athleticism, IQ, and overall work ethic. You are a very gritty player which is awesome!

My name is Caroline Pape. I am the current Head Coach of Women’s Lacrosse at Moravian University, and for the STEPS Elite 2026 White team. I am writing to you on behalf of Riley Pipher, and her desire to compete at the collegiate level. I have been coaching with STEPS for over two years now. Though I have not been Riley’s coach for long, I can already tell what a dedicated, focused, and motivated player she is. Riley is consistently putting in the effort to better her game, challenge herself and teammates, and give her fullest effort each session Riley is a great athlete, and a threat on both ends of the field. She has very fluid stick work and ability to handle the ball, in addition to strong vision/awareness that enable her to find open teammates, place powerful shots, and play at a fast pace. Her speed enables her presence on the field, and her ability to change speed and direction make her tough to keep up with. She makes decisions on the field quickly and for the good of the team. She is technically sound on midfield & defense, making strong, solid contact, communicating, sliding, and is able to recover quickly. Riley is a gritty coachable player that wants to continue to learn and grow her game.

As a high school freshman Riley Pipher made the girls’ Varsity lacrosse team and received her varsity letter for her contributions on the field. She was the only freshman from a freshman class of 20 players to be selected for varsity. Riley Pipher is a talented athlete who consistently displays dedication and passion for her sport. She possesses an admirable level of commitment, continuously striving for excellence in both individual performance and team development. Riley not only demonstrates strong technical skills but also exhibits a strong determination to succeed in any particular moment on the field. Beyond Riley’s impressive physical abilities, she possesses a remarkable ability to maintain focus under pressure. In the face of challenges and pressure situations she has exhibited resilience and determination, always rising above adversity to achieve optimal outcomes.
