About Rowan

I am Rowan Gawrych from Yorkville, IL. I have been playing soccer my entire life and competing at the club level for 5 years, spending my freshman year on Yorkville High School's Junior Varsity team and my sophomore to present season on Varsity. I take great pride in my dedication on and off the pitch, receiving the most improved athlete award and spending my entire high school career on the high honor roll and being involved in Math Honor Society. I am committed to helping everyone find their place and am an active member of Link Crew, working to help freshmen plan and navigate the beginning of their high school career. I am hardworking and have maintained athletic and academic success in unison with having a job and numerous out-of-school commitments. I aspire to attend a college where I can continue playing soccer while working toward earning my Bachelor of Science in nursing. I am particularly interested in schools located in the midwestern United States, with a strong interest in Wisconsin. I am looking for a program that will support both my academic and athletic development. I am driven and coachable, ready to contribute to any team’s success.
