Rowan Wagner

I am a versatile right-footed player and an experienced center back, however, I am comfortable in many positions on the field. I love to use my physicality to push anyone off the ball and win those big 50/50 challenges. In fact, last year I was nominated to receive the 'Tough Guy" award from my high school coaches. Both my high school and club teams have won state championships and I have consistently been a starter on both teams; joining HS varsity team as a freshmen. I had the pleasure of experiencing first-hand the coaching side of the game when I received my Y1 certification and coached a U9 boys team for two seasons. In school, I helped start a Special Olympics Unified Club, I am a Charter member of Hope Squad (a suicide prevention club that you are recommended by your peers to help out others in school), Link Leader (Leadership program to mentor underclassman with orientation days and provide assistance), DECA member (Marketing Club), and participated on Student Advisory Council with administrators. I enjoy fishing, hunting, boating, snowboarding, waterskiing, golfing, and working out/weight training. I currently have two areas of interest in studying in college: 1) Conservation/Natural Resources and 2) Athletic Training/Physical Therapy. My goal is to be playing for a competitive team in a friendly environment with great resources to help me succeed in my education.
