Sammy Hunt

I primarily play Center-back but also play defensive midfielder depending on the opponent, team and team injuries. I am competent to play attacking mid as well. My high IQ of reading the field and the opponents shift of play is necessary and a strong suit for the above positions. Winning areial balls, quickly turning defensive plays into offensive opportunities have been an area many coaches quickly notice. I am verbal on the field and have been voted Captain by both Club and HS for 4 consecutive years. I believe this is due to my understanding for the need of leadership on and off the field. I would describe my attitude as, lets have fun and also buckle down and take care of business. I am here for ALL my teammates and classmates, and strongly believe mental health is a huge point that teammates need the support of one another. I am currently entertaining a health science degree.
