Sebastian Gebers

Adam Reynolds ( email: areynolds@caz.cnyric.org, phone: 315-415-0429, relationship: Coach): Sebastian has been playing for our high school program for two years, on our JV team in 9th grade and our Varsity team his 10th-grade year. At the Varsity level, he started every game at Center-Back, a very key position on any team and especially ours, as we needed to keep tight games given we were not a prolific scoring team. To put a first-year Varsity player there is a daunting task, but Sebastian has all the qualities required for it: communication, composure, solid foot skill, and excellent soccer IQ for decision making. And, from a coaching perspective, he came to practice everyday prepared, worked hard and was hungry for knowledge to better himself. He always asked for feedback or about situations that had come up or might come up tactically. He is a wonderful player that is a great teammate and constantly hungry to improve as a soccer player. I look forward to seeing Sebastian grow as a player, especially now with him setting the goal of playing at the next level.
