About Me

Hi, my name is Serene Hamzeh. I am an 06 player graduating in the year 2024. I currently play in the Girls Academy league with VSA/Rush 06 (Coach Jordan Burns) and last season played up with the VSA/Rush GA 04/05 team (Coach Corbin Stone). I also play for Iowa ODP. I have played for the Iowa ODP team for the past 4 years and made the roster every time and started the majority of games. I have been selected for the ODP Midwest regional ID camp this past July session and I have been invited for this year's session (July 7-9). I also participated in the USA Cup in Blaine, MN last July with my ODP team and we won our age group.  My primary position is holding mid but I also play attacking mid, occasionally center and left back. I am a technical two-footed player and very smart on the field. I have been playing soccer since I was four years old starting when I was in Colorado and my commitment to the game grows every day. Of my favorite things about playing soccer is being part of a challenging team and league. I continuously strive to improve my game. I'm a very hard worker and I have high expectations for myself that I work towards reaching every day! I want to have the best soccer experience in college and be a part of a great team!

I train with my club team (Cedar River Soccer Association) and Iowa ODP. In addition, I do additional training with High Definition Soccer (Coach Drew Russell) and Elite Soccer (Coach Sonny) and I also do strength and agility training with Profit. In addition, I also do HIIT on the treadmill at home and at the gym.
