My name is Shelby Lake. I am a junior in high school and look forward to competing at a collegiate level in soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, and ever since then, I have loved playing. I want to continue playing soccer in college at a high level because I know this is a great opportunity for me and my future. When playing, I am able to make fast and precise decisions on and off the ball. I have a strong right and left foot, which makes me versatile. As well, I am hard working on and off the field no matter what it takes, even if that means putting my body on the line. In the classroom, in my first two years of school, I have earned academic achievement letters and maintained a high GPA. When I attend college, I want it to be a right fit for soccer and academically, but also have a high-level competitive team and classes. I want to be able to push myself on and off the field.
