About Me
My name is Samuel Maraver, and I am from Caracas, Venezuela. I immigrated to the United States when I was 11 years old. I am a natural left-footed left back with the ability to play winger. My simple one/two playability is distinguished by the addition of a tactical aspect on the ball. I have a very broad game vision and am very technical with crosses and filtered passes. My dream has always been to play professional soccer. Playing at the highest college level possible along with a good education is the ideal match for my situation. I always work hard while keeping my head down and remaining humble because I know that there is always room for improvement and feedback. I am an extremely coachable player with the ability to quickly adapt to different playing mechanics. I have the ability to both attack and defend. Finally, I have played in various stages such as: club, ODP Florida state team, ODP region III reserve, high school varsity, and now MLS Next; with my experience and desire, I am confident that I will have a significant impact on the team, as each experience that I have lived has shaped me into the player that I am today. I am Committed with Florida Gulf Coast University.
