About Sofia
Born and raised in Argentina, my journey in handball began at a very early age. As the daughter of a handball coach and a sports psychologist, the sport has always been a central part of my life. I believe this environment has shaped me not only as an athlete, but also as a person, helping me develop discipline, consistency, and resilience.
These qualities are not a coincidence, but the result of years of commitment to a demanding routine. Balancing academics and athletics has meant managing a full schedule five days a week, and I have embraced that challenge with both passion and a positive attitude.
As I approach my high school graduation, I am motivated by the opportunity to continue growing in handball while pursuing a high-level education in the United States. I am deeply passionate about my sport, but equally committed to my academic development. I have consistently performed at a high academic level and intend to continue doing so.
For me, becoming a student-athlete is a natural next step and one that aligns perfectly with who I am and who I aspire to become.
