About me

My name is Stella, and there is nothing more important to me than family, soccer, friends and music. I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA and a 4.1 weighted GPA and working to get it higher. I make education a priority because I want the opportunity to study and play soccer at an institution with high standards and a positive culture. I am a GOALKEEPER. I’ve been a keeper since I was six years old. I joke with my family that I didn’t choose the position, the position chose me. I can’t put into words the passion I have for being the last line of defense for my team. It’s a huge responsibility, and it’s as rewarding as it is humbling. I would describe myself as a sweeper and like to play high and strategically to minimize risk, but I’m adaptable to many styles. My teammates and coaches mean everything to me and I will literally put my body on the line for them. When I’m not on the pitch, I’m at a concert, drawing, baking, or volunteering with younger keepers. I love to share with the next generation of goalies what I’ve learned from so many great coaches and players. My dream is to coach at the club or college level when my time on the pitch has come to an end (and I don’t see that happening anytime soon)! I’ve started the process of getting my first license, which I will hopefully obtain by the time I’m 18. Something I’ve never told anyone about me is that my guilty pleasure is watching Law And Order SVU. Olivia Benson is goals.
