Sydney Long

I am a hardworking student-athlete who loves soccer and always gives my best effort. I’m the captain of my club soccer team and my ski team, which is an alpine race team. Both sports have helped me grow in different ways. Skiing is an individual sport, which has taught me self-discipline, mental toughness, and how to push myself without relying on anyone else. Soccer, on the other hand, is a team sport that has helped me develop leadership, communication, and the ability to work toward the same goal with others. I never give up in school or in sports, and I’m always focused on improving and getting better every day. Academically, I challenge myself to earn strong grades and stay consistent
.Outside of athletics, I’m involved in my community through Girls United Club, where I volunteer and help organize events. I also participate in car washes and other fundraisers, contributing to community service whenever I can. Soccer is my biggest passion, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue growing as a player and meet new levels better than before. In college, my goal is to study radiology or dermatology at a strong academic program with a positive, supportive learning environment. I believe I bring a unique personality, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for helping others, both on and off the field, and I’m excited to find a school where I can grow as both a student and an athlete.
